3rd Annual National TriMathlon

Get Your Students Excited about Math 
Mathnasium's 3rd Annual TriMathlon!

Dear Neighbors,

Mathnasium Learning Centers is excited to announce its 3rd Annual National TriMathlon, a fun-filled, no-pressure math competition for 2nd through 5th graders of all math levels, this fall.  Last year, more than 3,500 kids participated in this great event, and we are anticipating an even larger turnout this year. Plus, this year’s participation raises money for local schools!

Mathnasium of Johns Creek & Mathnasium of South Forsyth, your neighborhood math learning centers, will host the math competition on October 19th.  Registration is free and limited to the first 30 students per grade who register.  Students may register now at:  www.mathnasium.com/trimathlon

 The TriMathlon consists of three challenges:

·         The Counting Game: Tests student’s ability to count from any number, to any number, by any number

·         Magic Squares: Students are awarded points for developing their own math problems

·         Mental Math Workout: Tests student’s Number Sense by asking them to solve given problems the “smart” way without pencil and paper

 What participating students will receive:

·         All participants will receive a FREE downloadable math game* from Lakeshore®, a wallet filled with surprise goodies, and a certificate of achievement

·         1st, 2nd, and 3rd place local winners at each grade level will receive medals and prizes

·         National TriMathlon winners will receive additional prizes and recognition


Mathnasium wants to distinguish students for their hard work in the classroom.  Our third annual TriMathlon strives to not only rouse children’s excitement in a contest of mathematical skills, but for parents and teachers alike, underscore the necessity of math education in the United States.  At Mathnasium, we believe in the importance of working together with teachers, parents and schools to help the students in our community succeed.
