Qualifying for Johns Creek's Special Election, March 3-5

From the City of Johns Creek:

Qualifying for Johns Creek's Special Election to fill City Council Posts 4 and 6 will be held Monday, March 3 through Wednesday, March 5.

Residents interested in qualifying should come to the City Clerk's Office at Johns Creek City Hall, Suite 400, 12000 Findley Road between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Each candidate must meet the qualifications of the Charter and Code of the City of Johns Creek, as well as all applicable state and constitutional laws, pursuant to Georgia Election Code 21-2-132. The qualifying fee for each post is $450.

The Special Election will be held May 20, 2014.
