North Fulton Schools Welcome New Principals

Former Chattahoochee, Medlock Bridge assistant principals take leadership roles.

When Fulton County Schools' new year begins on Aug. 12, several schools in North Fulton will welcome new principals, some of whom will already be familiar to students:

Tara McGee, the new Lake Windward Elementary principal in Alpharetta, served as an assistant principal at Medlock Bridge Elementary School in Johns Creek. She has taught various grade levels in both the United States and Italy, and was a math curriculum specialist.

Windy Bottoms, the new Birmingham Falls Elementary principal in Milton, was an assistant principal at Chattahoochee High in Johns Creek. She has taught middle and high school grades.

Jennifer Cassidy, the new principal at Esther Jackson Elementary in Roswell, served as an assistant principal at Centennial High in Roswell for three years. She began her teaching career as a middle school science teacher.

Michael LeMoyne, the new Hopewell Middle School principal in Milton, was an assistant principal at Alpharetta High School. He began his career as a middle school teacher.

Don Webb, the new Manning Oaks Elementary principal in Alpharetta, was an assistant principal at Summit Hill Elementary in Milton. He has taught at Dunwoody Springs, State Bridge Crossing in Johns Creek and Cogburn Woods in Alpharetta elementary schools.
