Offering everything from cooking demos and computer classes to day trips and fitness classes, Johns Creek's Park Place is getting ready to celebrate its second anniversary.
On Saturday, Aug. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m., bring friends, grandchildren and family members to enjoy live music, food, games and giveaways.
The active adult center serving Johns Creek residents age 62 and older opened its doors in July 2011 after a two-year renovation of the historic Newtown School.
