PFLAG Atlanta is the Atlanta chapter of PFLAG National. Founded in 1973 with the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son, PFLAG is the original ally organization. PFLAG is committed to securing full civil rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people by providing support, education and advocacy. PFLAG conducts several free support group meetings every month in the Atlanta GA metropolitan area (Atlanta, Marietta, Johns Creek/North Fulton, Peachtree City, Macon and Athens).
