Loving Pomeranian Mix Looking for Forever Home

Figi is house trained, up-to-date on his shots and ready for adoption through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet little Figi, a Pomeranian/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix who is approximately 7 years old and weighs around 20 pounds.  He is neutered, crate and house-trained, up-to-date on all his vetting and shots, is micro-chipped and ready to find a loving, forever family.  Figi was found in a rural county animal shelter with another dog (female) who looked like his twin, but was a bit older. We aren't sure if they were related, or not. Little Figi was rescue by Angels Among Us Pet Rescue and a kind-hearted foster took him into her home.  We don't know for sure, but it appears he might have belonged to someone at one time who loved and cared for him, because he is a wonderful fellow who still has many, many very good years ahead of him.    …

Smart, Loving Lab Mix Looking for a Home

Grayson is available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet Grayson, a Lab/Weimaraner/Pit mix girl who is approximately 1 year old and weighs around 50 pounds. She is crate-trained, spayed, fully vetted, microchipped and ready to find her forever home and family.  Grayson is such a smart girl. She learned her sit and stay commands in less than a minute. She has a wonderful, sweet, loving disposition and is so hungry for love and attention. She loves to play with a balanced, non-dominant dog closer to her size, but needs not to be adopted into a home with smaller dogs or cats, as she loves to chase them too much.  Grayson was seconds away from being euthanized in a local shelter when Angels Among Us Pet Rescue saved her literally from death. This wonderful young pup is such a funny, loving girl…

Tiny Bundle of Joy Needs a Home

Chihuahua mix is ready for adoption through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet "Lisa Marie"! This Chihuahua mix is 1-2 years old and weighs in at 8 pounds of joy, fun and love!  Lisa Marie is fully crate-trained, and has no issues with being crated. She is almost fully housebroken, but still does best when she has access to being taken out to potty during the day. This pup is great with other dogs, ignores her foster's kitty and although she is not aggressive at all, true to her breed, she is a "barker."  Lisa Marie had a very rough start in life: she was literally saved from death row, was scheduled to be euthanized but saved at the last minute by Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.  After being rescued, she was taken to one of Angels' vets and somehow slipped through the hands of one of their vet techs and took off! …

I am Lisa Marie's foster mom. She is an awesome little dog! She is very sweet and loving, and is so funny too! She loves to chase my 65lb lab in the field, so she has been getting lots of exercise. She would make the perfect addition to any Chi lover's home!   more ›

Special Dog with Special Needs Looking For a Home

Rainy is available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet Rainy, a male, Lab/shepherd mix who is 8-12 months old, and weighs around 40-50 pound. Rainy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all his shots and vetting and is ready to find his forever home and family.  Rainy has such a special story to tell. You see, this poor pup was used by someone to train another dog to fight. Precious Rainy is not a fighter at all - he's very loving and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. This dear boy was brought into animal control after a horrible fight with torn ears, multiple puncture wounds all around his head.  As you can see in one of the pictures, Rainy actually lost the ear flap on the left side of his head that covered over the canal going into his ear. His injuries were horrific when he was…

'Sweet as Pie' Chihuahua Needs Forever Home

'Sweet Potato Pie' is available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet "Sweet Potato Pie," 2-year-old Chihuahua short-haired girl who weighs 9 pounds, and each pound is filled with pure sweetness!  She is a recent rescue with Angels Among Us, and is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vetting, shots and preventatives. She is crate-trained and is 90 percent house-trained (she uses puppy pads inside when not able to go outside).   Sweetie-Pie (her nickname) has quickly become the apple of her foster's eye and she says the name fits this little girl perfectly as she is "sweet, warm, loving and very good." This precious little girl who wants nothing more than to be loved on, petted, cuddled with and just generally your little "vecro" buddy.  Prior to becoming an Angels dog, this baby was obviously starved, …

Perfect Lab Mix Looking for a Home

Em is available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet Em, a Lab/mix female who's affectionately known as a "beautiful Georgia brown dog." She is 6 to 7 years old and weighs a "perfect" 50 pounds.  Em is also spayed, microchipped, totally house-trained and crate-trained. Em's fosters only put her in her crate if they are going to be gone more than a few hours, as she is fine being loose in the home most of the time.  She does seem to have a desire to help her human keep the house clean, so if you leave socks and old papers laying about, she will at times help you clean up by picking them up and taking them to her crate to chew on. Her foster mom says Em has never chewed on anything of substance.  Em is also up-to-date on all her shots and preventatives with perfect vet records, and is a …

Loving German Shepherd/Corgi Seeks Forever Home

Gunther is available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet Gunther, a male German Shepherd/Corgi mix who is around 1 year old and weighs about 25 pounds. He may gain a bit more weight, but not much. This sweet boy has the face of a German Shepherd but the body of a Corgi.  Since he is so "low" to the ground, he's commonly referred to as a "low-rider,"but when it comes to love, this boy has a huge heart.  Little Gunther is neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on all his shots and vetting and is ready for his new home and family.  This boy came to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue when he was found as a stray, wandering around alone in a dangerous apartment complex in Gwinnett County.  Since we have no other previous information on him, it's hard to know exactly what happened to him during his time on …

Beautiful 'Bunny' Looking For A Home

Sharpei mix available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet little Bunny, beautiful Sharpei mix who's a pure bundle of sweetness and love. Bunny is 13 weeks old, weighs approximately 10 to 12 pounds, is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots and vetting and is ready to go to her forever home and family. This wonderful bundle of joy is 90 percent house- and crate-trained, although being young she will tend to whimper just a bit at first but quickly settles down and is no problem whatsoever in her crate.  Bunny is great with other dogs, cats, children and adults - she has no aggression issues whatsoever. She is content to just curl up in a warm blanket an snooze away the day, but she is always up for a two-mile run with her foster, chasing the wind along the river trails for the afternoon.  …

Sweet Hound Looking for a Home

Jaffe is available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet "Jaffe," a male Hound-mix dog who is 4 to 5 years old and weighs approximately 78 pounds. This boy is a tad overweight right now, but his foster is helping him slim down a bit.  The vet says ideally he should weigh about 60 pounds and he was obviously overfed by his previous owners. He is neutered, house and crate-trained, up-to-date on shots and vetting and is microchipped.  Jaffe is good with non-reactive, easygoing dogs but he's not been around felines, so we don't know how he would react - most hound mixes find them fun to chase, so probably no kitties for his home.  He adores humans and attention from them.  This boy is okay with kids, but does best with older ones who know not to jerk bones and toys out of his mouth.  He can get…
