Young athletes in Johns Creek can register until Jan. 31 for one of several sports being offered this spring by Newtown Recreation. The athletic association’s spring programs, based at Johns Creek’s Newtown Park, feature soccer, baseball, lacrosse, tennis and girls running/training. It also offers instructional classes in soccer and t-ball for youngsters, ages 3 and 4. Non-resident fees may apply. Some age groups may play on fields at local schools.
