Reality TV Show on Weight Loss Seeking Contestants

"The Biggest Loser" is holding a casting call in the Atlanta area for its 15th season.

Sometimes it's good to be a loser.  NBC's reality TV show "The Biggest Loser" is holding a casting call to choose contestants for its 15th season. The show features overweight individuals working to drop the most pounds to vie for a $250,000 cash prize. "We are looking for contestants that have over 80 pounds to lose, but most importantly those with great stories, compelling backgrounds, and a lot of personality," a spokesperson for "The Biggest Loser," said in an e-mail to Patch. "Our casting directors are very excited to be in the area and are hoping to speak with people who are really serious about changing their lives and getting healthy."  Have you had success with weight loss? One New Year's resolution tops the list of life-changing pledges almost every year: lose weight. If you're one of the many Americans wanting to create a new you for the new year, you may be tempted by products boasting fat-free claims. But check out the labels before you buy: Those fat-free products are not as helpful for weight loss as you may think.
