Hooch Plans Spring, Summer Volleyball Camps

Clinics open to girls grades fifth through ninth.

The Chattahoochee High School varsity volleyball coaches will be hosting a spring volleyball camp for girls in grades fifth through ninth on four Mondays during April. The spring camp will be at CHS from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. April 8, 15, 22 and 29. Each session is $30 and includes a T-shirt. Girls signing up for all four camps will receive a discounted price of $100.  CHS Head Coach Jennie Blevins and Assistant Varsity Coach Blair Boyle will also be heading up a summer volleyball camp at CHS, with the help of varsity players. The summer camp, also for girls in fifth through ninth grades, will be June 10-13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $175 and includes a T-shirt. Hooch's Templeton and Coco on All-State Team

Two members of the Chattahoochee varsity volleyball team were selected to the AAAAAA All State Team. They are Haley Templeton (third-year All State) and Claudia Coco, both of whom are juniors at Chattahoochee. Templeton will be attending the University of Miami and Coco will be attending the University of Tennessee in fall 2014.

Hooch JV Volleyball Wins Tourney

The Chattahoochee High School JV volleyball team was named gold division champions of the Sequoyah Classic recently at Sequoyah High School. Team members participating in the tournament win included, from left, Haley Smith, Christine Howarth, Shelly Herring, Morgan Cocca, Aubri McMann, Paula Ruiz, Megan Marsho, Amber Michaeli and Coach Jessica Schuster. Other team members include Alli Flory and Sydney Henderson.
