Perimeter School to Honor Veterans

Veterans Day program taking place Thursday, Nov. 15.

Perimeter School will host its 18th annual Veterans Day program on Thursday, Nov. 15, honoring all Veterans of the Armed Forces.  This year the school at Perimeter Church is hosting Major Jeff Strueker, survivor of the raid on Mogadishu and of Black Hawk Down fame, as guest speaker. Major Strueker served as a chaplain with the elite Army Rangers for more than 10 years. His Army experience includes service in Panama, Kuwait and Somalia, and multiple tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraqi.  The Perimeter Veterans Day Program is a community event, open to the public.
