Johns Creek commuters who travel on GA 400 and who are use to using the toll booth will notice a big change come this November - there will be no toll booth. The Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority said on Thursday the toll plaza will come down on November 21, reports WSBTV.com. Gov. Deal: GA 400 Tolls End in December 2013 Last summer Gov. Nathan Deal promised an end to the tolls by Dec. 1, 2013, saying that bonds issued by the state will be paid off by that time, allowing the tolls to be removed. But it looks like that measure has been moved to a week before Thanksgiving, weather permitting. Even if you never watch the game you'll appreciate the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday morning, as the team is paying for all tolls on GA 400. From 7 a.m.-9 a.m., the Atlanta Hawks will sponsor northbound and southbound tolls, including the 50 cent and cashier lanes, and the Cruise Card/Peach Pass lanes. The tolls are being paid in partnership with the State Road and Tollway Authority. Not only will the tolls be paid.
