Fulton Cuts Water, Sewer Rates

The 4 percent rate cut might not be much money, but it's still a savings.

Good news for Fulton County water and sewer customers: Fulton County voted to cut water and sewer rates by 4 percent starting Feb. 1. It's not a lot of money, but it will be savings. The Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted at their Dec. 19 meeting to cut the rates through approval of the 2013 water & sewer budget. County water and sewer customers will enjoy the lowest rates in metro Atlanta, according to a news release from the county's Public Affairs manager, Jessica A. Corbitt-Dominguez. Water Rates (per 1,000 gallons) Sewer Rates For a customer using approximately 6,000 gallons per month, the saving for water and sewer will be approximately $25 per year. If water consumption is 12,000 gallons per month, the saving for water and …
