Johns Creek resident elected chairwoman of Fulton House Delegation.
With a new legislative session kicking off, Johns Creek's own State Rep. Lynne Riley has been named to a new leadership position in the Georgia House of Representatives. "I am honored to have been elected Chairwoman of the Fulton County House Delegation," said Riley on her website. "In 2013, my colleagues and I will deliver a legislative package designed to benefit every citizen of Fulton County by lowering taxes and enhancing service delivery." Johns Creek's State Rep. Lynne Riley (District 50) says she's looking forward to her first time serving as a delegate at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., which starts this week. Riley is paying for all of her own expenses, too. "I consider this an investment in a better future for our country," she said. The Supreme Court has upheld Obamacare and the individual mandate that requires the purchase of insurance as a tax. “I am extremely disappointed that the United States Supreme Court has expanded the federal government’s influence over the lives of every American," said State House Rep.
