Hawks Will Pay GA 400 Tolls Wednesday Morning

For two hours all the northbound and southbound tolls will be paid, with Harry the Hawk and Atlanta Hawks cheerleaders on hand.

Even if you never watch the game you'll appreciate the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday morning, as the team is paying for all tolls on GA 400. From 7 a.m.-9 a.m., the Atlanta Hawks will sponsor northbound and southbound tolls, including the 50 cent and cashier lanes, and the Cruise Card/Peach Pass lanes. The tolls are being paid in partnership with the State Road and Tollway Authority. Not only will the tolls be paid. Georgia 400 Toll Plaza Lane Closures

Peach Pass signage installation begins near the GA 400 Toll Plaza area this weekend.

The State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA) will begin modifying existing overhead and toll booth signage located near the GA 400 Toll Plaza area this weekend, according to a news release. The work plan requires that southbound and northbound lanes be closed intermittently overnight while the work is underway, significantly impacting traffic flow. The work is scheduled to begin, weather permitting, from 10 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, through 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7. Southbound and northbound all-electronic toll lanes, as well as some cash-only and cashier lanes at the GA 400 Toll Plaza, will be closed at various times, which could impact traffic flow while the work is underway.
