Take in a 'First Day Hike' this New Year's Day

On Tuesday, Jan. 1, state parks across Georgia and the United States have organized an historic event called "First Day Hike." The program organized by "Americas State Parks" represents the first time that all 50 states have collaborated on a nationwide event occurring on the same day, according to Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
