'Miracle Balloons' to Take Flight at Kroger

The Johns Creek stores are participating in the annual Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser, which will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Kroger store walls throughout the Atlanta area - including Johns Creek - will soon be dotted with “Miracle Balloons” in honor of the grocer’s annual fundraiser benefitting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – a member hospital of the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN).  From May 19 to June 8, customers can purchase $1 hot-air balloon icons at checkout to help Kroger reach its goal of raising $350,000 to benefit local children’s hospitals. Area Kroger Stores Donate to Relay for Life

Over $184,000 was donated to the American Cancer Society's fundraiser.

Kroger customers and associates in its Atlanta Division – which includes Johns Creek area stores – contributed more than $184,000 to support the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Relay For Life campaign – an 8 percent increase from last year’s donations. For two weeks in February, Kroger customers and associates at the 213 stores in Georgia, South Carolina, Northern Alabama and Eastern Tennessee purchased $1 “footprint” icons for Relay For Life, a signature fundraising event that takes place in more than 5,100 communities nationwide and abroad. Salvation Army to Ring Bells at Area Krogers

Red Kettle donations can be made at Kroger locations throughout Johns Creek and the Atlanta area this holiday season

Kroger stores in Georgia, South Carolina and Eastern Tennessee are ringing in the holiday season with The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign. Dole Recalls Bagged Salads

Kroger and Wal Mart salads included in recall.

According to the Food & Drug Administration, Dole Fresh Vegetables is voluntarily recalling 1,077 cases of bagged salads. The products being recalled are: • Kroger Fresh Selections Greener Supreme coded N158 211B 1613 KR04 with use-by date of June 19 and UPC 11110 91039 • Kroger Fresh Selections Leafy Romaine coded N158 111B KR11 with use-by date of June 19 and UPC 11110 91046 • Wal Mart Marketside Leafy Romaine coded N158111B with use-by date of June 19 and UPC code 81131 02781 The recall is due to a possible health risk from Listeria monocytogenes. Recycle Your Old Electronics at Kroger for Good Cause

Get rid of old electronics safely while benefitting those with disabilities.

Kroger is teaming up with Recycletronics – an electronics recycling program created by Nobis Works – to host its first electronics recycling drive now through April 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Saddlebrook Kroger on State Bridge Road in Johns Creek.
