Job Fair: Northside Hospital Wants to Fill 500 Positions

The event will be held Wednesday in Sandy Springs.

This week Northside Hospital will hold a job fair to fill more than 500 positions.  The event will be held 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday, at 5601 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, the former Marriott Courtyard. The site is across the street from Northside Hospital. Northside seeks candidates for new and existing positions. Nursing, allied health and support professionals are needed, a press statement said. North Fulton Job Fair Draws 275 for 500 Positions

The next event will be held Monday, Feb. 11, at Roswell United Methodist Church.

More than 275 job seekers and volunteers took part in a "Mini Job Fair" on Dec. 10 that was a joint effort by Roswell United Methodist Church and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Some 500 different job opportunities offered by 19 different employers in the metro Atlanta area were discussed in the job networking event. Job seekers had one-on-one conversations with employers who sought to fill the open positions. A grassroots, volunteer job networking program is forming an alliance with a group of businesses to lower unemployment and help North Fulton job seekers find work.
