Success is Sweet for Two Young Entrepreneurs

Johns Creek High School students turn their "arm candy" creations into a booming online business.

In their black tights and knee-high boots, Lauren Friedman and Madison Janssen look like typical teenage girls at first glance. But spend a few minutes with the Johns Creek High School students, and it’s easy to see there is something that sets the two apart. Words like “branding,” “target marketing,” and “price point” pepper their teenage vernacular. Of course, what else could you expect from two burgeoning business women?
