JCAC Pieces on Display at the Booth Museum

Campers' art will be on display on Aug. 25.

Each year the Johns Creek Arts Center partners with an established Atlanta institution during summer camp for cross-promotion and an opportunity for campers to make relevant and dramatic pieces of artwork for display at that institution.  This year the art center partnered with the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville to tie in with the 2012 summer camp theme “Amazing America,” with sub-themes of Southwestern Art (Cowboys & Indians), the American Craft Movement (Folk Art), and American Pop & Modern Art. Various groups of campers created collaborative art pieces to represent the different themes.
