Registration Open for Baseball Clinic, Camps

City of Johns Creek plans three camps for spring and summer.

It's time to dig out the cleats and soften up the baseball glove: registration for Johns Creek's Spring Clinic baseball camp has started and will continue as long as openings are available. The camps, which help young players hone their skills through proven drills and games, will be held at Ocee Park and directed by staff from Johns Creek's Grand Slam Sports Center. Each of the two summer camps lasts four days. A three-day Spring Break clinic is set for April. All camp sessions run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Campers will be grouped by age and skill level with one instructor per 10 campers up to 50 campers. Baseball, Basketball Clinics at Pisgah

Hitting clinic starts Feb. 20; shooting starts March 3.

Former Major Leaguer Todd Greene will be hosting a hitting clinic on Monday, Feb. 20, at Mount Pisgah Christian School. There will be two sessions – one from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for 13u and 14u players. The second session will be from 2 to 4 p.m. for 11u and 12u players. Both sessions will be held at the Patriot Athletic Campus, located at 9825 Brumbelow Road in Johns Creek. The cost is $70 and space is limited to 10 players per session.
