I decided to give Jersey Boyz pizza a second try after careful consideration and against my better judgment, considering the first disappointing experience. This was the very first time I formed a decision on a pizza prior to taking my first bite. The pizza was so skimpy, the box seemed to weigh more than the contents inside. Not a very good sign considering it was a $21.00 Blanca Classica specialty pie. In addition, the crust was burned on the bottom and around the edges. This means not much care was taken by the person who baked it. The flavor however, was not offensive but nothing memorable, except for the heart burn.
A major factor which contributed to the decent flavor was, as a white pizza, I did not have to be subjected to Jersey Boyz overly sugared tomato sauce. But the crust was too thin, too soggy and there was barely any ricotta cheese present. The pizza was also supposed to have fresh garlic on it but the same chef who burned the crust, apparently also forgot what the proper ingredients should be.
Mama’s Pizza on Old Milton Parkway is a far superior product at a better price.
If Jersey Boyz thinks they can thrive by offering their customers subpar food at outrageous prices, they’ll soon be out of business. Two strikes for Jersey Boyz means I’m outta there for good.

I was starving one day when I went to this place. I just had the best experience, I had to write a review on it! Too many people write reviews when they were upset, not enough when they had a great experience! The food here was out of this world!! The garlic knots were amazing, the bleu cheese salad, lemon pepper (crispy) wings, and dont get me started on the chocolate calzone for the dessert!! I've been back 5 times this past month... those wings are addicting! Ask for Missy when you go, she is so fantastic! It just adds to the whole experience when you get really great customer service.
