Diane was with me through 2 deliveries the births of my 3rd & 4th child. The first was before Gifts of Grace when she was w/ Sotomeyer and someone else was put on my delivery for selfish reasons I won't mention. Wants important is she was off that day and because she promised she'd be there w/ me she came and stayed w/ me he whole time she photographed my son's birth for me so my son's father could focus on me during my c-section. She has been a blessing to my family. My second delivery w/ her was the birth of my daughter and it was a high risk pregnancy. She took ver good care of me not passing me on to others as she knew I wouldn't be comfortable. She accomodated all my request and went above and beyond. I have always referred her to any and everyone and those who have gone to her have been pleased. My family loves her.

I gave birth with them twice.. the second time was not by choice. With my first birth, I was able to birth my twins vaginally.. but was coaxed into the epidural against my wishes.. all so Diane could cover herself. This ended up creating some small issues that could have easily turned tragic. I did not realize this until much later though while going through my own midwifery training. I became pregnant again very soon after and only saw Diane for random visits since I was planning a homebirth. She was well aware of this. During my 3rd Trimester, it was found that I had a large tumor on my ovary. I was told it was bleeding into itself and that it had to be taken. I did not want the surgery until after the baby was born. So I left the hospital in major pain. 3 weeks later the tumor twisted and I had to go back in.. All I wanted was pain relief. What I got was sedated, and given an unauthorized c-section.I was lied to and degraded. Diane was no where to be found after the first episode with the tumor. She abandoned me so she wouldnt be involved. They knew I had planned on having a homebirth and was going to do natural induction when I got home in order to give birth sooner so I could have the surgery needed. They ROBBED ME of my dreams. It has been 8 months since that awful event. It was the most horrible thing to happen in my life. I still suffer with PPD and have had to post pone my training because the thought of seeing other women get the birth they dream of kills me.

I suffer from Hyperemesis Gravidarum a terrible disease, words cannot express the suffering pregnant women go through who have this disease! Diane and Sarah took great care of me during my ordeal! I thank them every day, they saved the lives of me and my beautiful baby girl. I lived in the Atlanta area away from my family and these ladies supported me, believed me and provided me with a home care and in-home nurses. I literally could not drink water, eat food and vomited every minute of the day. I loss so much weight , could not walk and at times thought I would die. I even contemplated having an abortion to end my suffering. But as the business name reads "Gifts from Grace" I knew my unborn child was exactly that, a Gift, from our Lord above... I would recommend their services to anyone who suffers from this debilitating disease.
I located Diane Tandy from the HelpHER website: http://www.helpher.org/
