I'd like to fancy myself as the creative type, and after doing this class I thought I was Picasso! Maybe it was the wine / sangria that was consumed. Nonetheless, it was a blast. I've gone back multiple times.
I will say this - my first painting was more abstract, so that alone made it easier, and more enjoyable. When I went back a week later I did a painting that required more specific detail, and I didn't enjoy that as much. (this is no reflection on how the instructor, Robin, lead the class, I just realized I prefer blending colors and splashing around paint).
Overall, a genius idea, I love it. I'd do it every night if I could!
Great location, reasonable price (esp when you "LIKE" them on facebook, you get a few buck off), cool atmosphere.
What a wonderful evening! You paint in this inspiring environment - bright beautiful canvases around the room that stir your creativity. It's a fun casual atmosphere that lends itself to getting to know the others that are also relaxing with the beverage of their choice and just having a great time! I painted a golf scene on wine glass - that surprises me every time I use it- how good it looks. I've gotten so many compliments. Owner Robin Buckley made our event extra special.
