Friday, Jan. 3: Safety and Self-Defense Class for Girls - Johns Creek Police Department is offering teenaged girls a Safety and Self-Defense class to teach situational awareness and self-defense. The teenagers' class, for girls 13 to 20 years old, is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Space is limited. Click on link above to sign up.
Saturday, Jan. 4: Learn Power of Divine Healing Hands - Learn the power of divine healing hands for overall well-being and to help you handle life's challenges. Presented by Dr. & Master Zhi Gang Sha, Spiritual Master, Certified Teacher and Healer and former #1 New York Times best selling author. Reservations recommended. Saturday, Jan. 4: Free Art Lessons at Ocee Library - Free art lessons for ages 7 to 16 taught every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 1:30 - 3:30pm through April at Ocee Library. (The art room is located in the kids' book section.) Students can learn watercolor, color pencil, pastel and more.

Saturday, Jan. 4: Magic Treehouse Auditions - Off Broadway Children's Theatre is holding auditions for its Winter Production Of Magic Treehouse's Classic, "Dinosaurs Before Dark" directed by Mrs. Natalie Danna. Auditions are open to ages 5-14. Click on link above for additional information.

Monday, Jan. 6: Johns Creek City Council Meeting The first meeting of 2014 will be held at City Hall. Two new City Council members, Cori Davenport and Lenny Zaprowski will attend their first meeting. Check the city's website for a meeting agenda.
