The Johns Creek Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five of this week's community events.

Monday, Nov. 11, Johns Creek Art Center Holiday Show and SaleStudent art work show available for viewing and holiday items available for sale. Stop by and purchase unique art gifts.

Tuesday, Nov. 12, Cooking WorkshopTake your cooking skills up a notch in a small-group setting. Hands-on classes focus on tricks of the trade, and range in skill level from "recreational" to "master." 

Friday, Nov. 15, Park Place Friday Fun Trip - N. GA Outlet MallA day trip for seniors for a day of shopping at the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall. Cost: $5 each. Lunch: On your own for each trip. Max participants: 20 seniors per trip.

Friday, Nov. 15, Autrey Mill Middle School presents Willy Wonka JrThe play will be performed at 7 PM and Saturday, November 16th at 2 PM and 7 PM on the AMMS stage.  A talented and devoted group of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students have worked diligently on the play since early September creating a musical that will be enjoyed by the entire family.

Saturday, Nov. 16, Shred Personal Records for FreeJohns Creek residents can dispose of sensitive documents Saturday, Nov. 16, by taking them to a commercial shredder at Panera Bread Company, 11715 Medlock Bridge Rd.

And if nothing else, take time to get out and enjoy the fall weather. Temperatures should be in mid 60s Monday but dropping to the 40s and 50s later in the week.
