What's Going On Around Town

The Johns Creek Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five of this week's community events.

1. Tuesday, Sept. 17 the Johns Creek Civitan Club will meet at 7:15 - 8:30 a.m. at The Standard Club. The organization focuses on supporting and Special Needs Community. The club meets the first and third Tuesday of every month. Breakfast and a speaker are part of the program. Click here for more information.

2. The City of Johns Creek's Board of Zoning Appeals has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Visit the city's website for more details.

3. The Rotary Club of Johns Creek - North Fulton meets Wednesday, Sept.l 18 at 12:00 at the Atlanta Athletic Club.Visit www.RotaryJohnsCreek.com for additional information.

4. The North Fulton Chamber of Commerce is offering seniors 50+ a free introduction class on iPads. The hour and a half class has space available for 25, please click here to register. No iPad is needed to take this class.

5. The Dream Mike 5K/10K Run-Walk is Saturday, Sept. 21 at Shakerag Park. The fundraising event helps support underprivileged children. Click here to register and for more details.
