What's Going On Around Town This Week

The Johns Creek Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five of this week's community events.

City Council Work Session and Meeting, Monday, Oct. 21. The Work Session begins at 5 p.m., followed by the Council Meeting at 7 p.m. Meetings are held at 12000 Findley Road, Suite 300, Johns Creek. Click here for meeting agendas.

Savvy Social Security Planning for Baby Boomers, Oct. 22, 6:30 p.m. Find out what you need to know to make the most of your retirement benefits. Event to be held at the NE/Spruill Oaks Library.

Pumpkin Painting Classes for Women,  the Academy of the Arts at Perimeter Church, October 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a fun morning of painting with acrylics on canvas.

Voter Information Night and Candidate Forum, Wednesday, Oct. 23, the Johns Creek High School PTSA's annual Voter Information Night and Candidate Forum. Meet the candidates in the upcoming November 5th  in the Johns Creek Municipal Election, including the Mayoral race and the opposed City Council positions.  Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions and hear a lively discussion.

Perimeter School Presents "Charlotte's Web," Perimeter School will perform the play in Perimeter Church’s KIDS Town Theater, Thursday, Oct. 24 at 1 and 4 p.m., and Friday, Oct. 25 at 4 and 7 p.m.  $5 General Admission at the door.
