This Week: Tree, Dreidel Lighting, Run-off Election, Book Fair, Parade and More

The Johns Creek Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five of this week's community events.

Monday, Dec. 2: Christmas Tree, Dreidel Lighting at Johns Creek City Hall The lighting ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. at City Council chambers with the Barnwell Elementary School Choir. After Christmas carols, the celebration moves outside for the lighting of Christmas tree and dreidel.

Monday, Dec. 2: Johns Creek City Council Meeting - The council has several new business items on the agenda. Click here for a copy of the meeting agenda.

Wednesday, Dec. 4: NE/Spruill Oaks Library Book Club Interested in discussing books with other book lovers? The Northeast/Spruill Oaks Library Book Club meets the first Wednesday of every month from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 

Friday, Dec. 6:  Northview High School Barnes & Noble BookfairCome to Barnes & Noble for your Holiday Shopping on Friday and support Northview High School's Project Graduation.

Saturday, Dec. 7: Johns Creek Founders Parade - The parade features marching bands, antique cars, Scout troops, community floats and other entries.

And don't forget to vote in the run-off election Tuesday, Dec. 3 for the Post 3 City Council seat.
