SnowJam 2014 Thaws Thursday
WABA Weather
Alex Forbes
Fulton, Gwinnett, Forsyth, DeKalb and many other school districts in north Georgia are closed today to thaw out after SnowJam 2014. Johns Creek officially got 1.75" of snow an many locations still have about .75-.5" on the ground at the start of this morning. Most of that should melt today leaving a few wet spots. Tonight, their will be isolated black ice patches across the city, however, schools should reopen tomorrow. Sorry kids!
But take a look at that 5 Day Forecast!! Highs return to the upper 50s by the weekend. We will need to watch for some rain though that will make Super Bowl Sunday wet.
