Icy Roads to Stick Around for a bit, Snow Comes to an End
WABA Weather
Shawn Fortune
With all the excitement (good and bad) Tuesday, it seems as if Wednesday will only be a slight improvement, on the roadways.
After the system dumped nearly 2" in Johns Creek and quickly accumulated on the roadways, roads will only slightly melt today as temperatures won't go above freezing until mid- day Thursday. Thankfully the wind and sun will melt a slight bit of the ice, but still, you will want to stay off the roads for as long as possible while the ice can melt.Β
Besides the Treacherous Travel Conditions, we'll experience cool temperatures tomorrow and into Mid Day Thursday, from that point on we'll begin our warming trend up into "Shorts and Flip Flops" weather into the 60's over the weekend.
Stay tuned for any more breaking weather information and nightly updates.Β
