'Roswell' is First Cat at North Fulton Shelter

Blue-eyed cat was first feline at Atlanta Humane Society's new campus.

The Atlanta Humane Society's Mansell Campus has now officially opened, and the center's staff and volunteers are hoping that our very first cat to enter our adoption program at this faciity will find a home very soon.

Roswell is a beautiful multi-colored guy, with extraordinary blue eyes! Visitors to our new center have marvelled about this beautiful boy's saphire eyes. Even more importantly, however, is the super sweet personality of this lovely young adult cat.

Initially reserved with new people, his vistors find that he quickly loses his reservations, and absolutely adores petting and brushing. Because of his "first cat" status, Roswell is quite the celebrity at our new state-of-the-art adoption center located at 1565 Mansell Road, and we were amazed that this sweet kitty was not adopted at Saturday's Grand Opening event.

Fortunately for families looking for a great lap cat companion, our beautiful new shelter will be open Sunday until 6 p.m. Roswell and a great number of other cats and kittens...and dogs and puppies!...will be waiting to be adopted into their forever homes. (And yes, we did have a puppy named "Alpharetta" as well as other animals named "Milton" and "Dunwoody"!)

All of our cats have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, and microchipped. Roswell's adoption fee is $85.
