Rescued from Puerto Rico, Cat Needs Home

A true character, Rico is playful and entertaining.

Rico was abandoned, starving and miserable living on the streets of Puerto Rico when one of Angels Among Us Pet Rescue volunteers came across him. In spite of his poor condition, she could immediately see that this was an exceptionally special little cat. She took him to a local vet, nursed him back to health, and eventually brought him back home with her. Now 8 months old, Rico is a happy, healthy and playful little boy who is looking for a forever home.

Rico is a real character and truly entertaining! He loves to play with the numerous toys bought for him by his foster mom, and will play and cavort for hours on end. He is very talkative and will have little conversations with you. He wants very badly to please, and even knows the meaning of the word, "No!" Quite simply, this is a sweet and friendly kitty who so much deserves his own family.

Rico would love a home where he has another young cat or kitten to play with. He would probably do well with a well-behaved dog. (Sadly, he now must live in a spare bedroom because the dogs in his foster home are overly interested in him!)

Rico is a tidy cat, and good about using his litter box. Of course, Rico has now received all basic vet work, including being neutered, tested for feline diseases, vaccinated, and microchipped.
