Portly Persian Mix Seeks Loving Home

In fairness to this kitty, we gave her the name "Beach Ball" before we put her on "kitty weight watchers." Don't get us wrong...she's still a good sized girl, but not nearly as rotund as before!

Beach Ball was headed for a shelter because her owner could no longer keep her when we intervened. She is about 5 years old, and is a truly mellow cat. We have found that she is a little reserved with new people, but once she gets to know her special human, she is very affectionate and very loyal. Her foster mom has found her to be an easy cat to have around. She likes to hang out with you, but is also ok when you are away from the house.

Beach Ball is a bit of a diva, and would prefer being the only cat. (She does, however, live with other cats and tolerates their presence.) She does great with dogs.

We believe Beach Ball is a Persian-mix, and her long coat will need brushing on a regular basis. We find her quite pretty (her photos don't do her justice!)

Of course, Beach Ball has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

We do hope a "special angel" will decide to give this sweet and deserving adult cat home a truly forever home. For more information and/or to request an application and a "meet and greet" opportunity, please contact her foster mom at 404-414-1282.
