Leadership Johns Creek Needs Volunteers For Day Of Service

Volunteers on Saturday, May 3 will perform various service projects in and around the city.

Leadership Johns Creek is looking for volunteers for its annual Day of Service next month.

Volunteers on Saturday, May 3 will spend the day performing various service projects in and around the city.

Volunteers are to meet at Outback Steakhouse at 10955 Jones Bridge Road. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. May 3, and all volunteers must register by 8 a.m. that morning.

Once registered, residents will be given directions to their assigned projects, and all volunteers must report to their assigned location no later than 8:30 a.m.

The majority of the projects will require physical labor, so volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves and wear closed-toe shoes. Hat, sunglasses, bug spray and sunscreen are also recommended. All materials needed for the service project will be provided by your team leader.

A cookout will be held at noon.

Volunteers can sign up online or can call (770) 495-0545 ext. 106 for more information.
