Kitty Siblings Want New Home for New Year

Lovely Bernie and Bernice, who are 9-month-old kitty "teenagers," were abandoned by an owner who apparently no longer wanted to be bothered with caring for them.

These super friendly young cats are still young enough to display kitten-like behavior, but old enough to show that they are already great "lap cats." Bernie is a tabby-and-white guy who was friendly with his rescuer from the get-go. A very confident little guy, he instantly made himself at home at his foster house. No hiding under the bed with this guy. He curled up on his foster mom's lap to watch TV with her the first evening, and follows her all over the house.

Bernice, a pretty little tuxedo, seemed to be shy for a few days, and then suddenly showed herself to be even friendlier than her brother. She absolutely adores lying right on top of the nearest person, and is the closest thing to a feline hot water bottle that you'll ever want to meet.

Both cats are very pretty with soft fur. They immediately becamse friends with the other kitties in the household, and also really like their foster dog buddies. They are very tidy, and really good about using their litter box.

According to Bernie and Bernice's foster mom, "This sister and brother are really the total package. They are sweet and playful, and extra affectionate. They would make a great addition to any home, and a great way for their new owner or owners to start off the New Year."

All of Angels' cats have been spayed/neutered, tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, vaccinated, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped. For more information and/or to request an adoption application for Bernie and Bernice, please call 404-414-1282.
