Johns Creek Foundation Calls for Grant Applications

The Board of Directors of the Johns Creek Foundation announced today the call for applications for the 2012 grant award cycle.

“The foundation continues to keep its promise to support not-for-profit organizations that enhance the quality of life in the City of Johns Creek,” stated Mayor Mike Bodker, Foundation Board Chairman. “We welcome grant applications from organizations that will advance our vision and mission, all to the benefit of the citizens of our great city.”

Organized in 2007, The Johns Creek Foundation Inc. has contributed to schools, arts programs, beautification efforts and recreation programs. Grant awards have been used to repair fields for student use, sponsored the HOPE ceremony at the Johns Creek Relay for Life, brought live symphony performances to , and enabled student scholarships to attend one of the finest summer arts programs in the region. In the coming years, students of all ages will enjoy an enhanced experience in the outdoor environmental classroom at and our community will continue to have access to the on State Bridge Road. In keeping with the commitment to support green space in the community, the Foundation has supported operations at and funded a trails study in the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area.
