Handsome Tabby Looking for a Family

Bernie loves to be the center of attention.

Bernie is a handsome 3-year-old white and brown tabby who needs to find a loving home. Bernie was abandoned when his owners moved out of their apartment, and Angels Among Us Pet Rescue volunteers took him in prior to his being picked up by animal control.

He is what is sometimes call a "Tabico," and his brown tabby markings are mixed with beautiful white colors. He is an athletic cat.

Bernie is now in a foster home, and has come a long way since he was rescued. His foster family says he is loaded with personality and that whoever adopts him will be crazy about him. He is usually extremely affectionate and likes attention, but every once and a while gets crabby when he feels enough is enough. He does pretty well with other cats, but does like to be the center of attention when people are around.

Bernie's foster mom actually thinks he'd be happier as the only cat with no other competition for affection. He gets along well with his foster family's dogs.

Like all of Angels' rescued cats, Bernie has been neutered and is up to date on vaccinations, has been tested for feline leukemia, feline AIDS, and heartworm disease, has been provided parasite control treatment, and is micro-chipped. He keeps himself very clean and is good about using his litter box.
