Golden-Shepherd Mix Looking for Forever Home

Meet Blake, a beautiful Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix available through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. Blake is approximately 1-2 years old and is such a stunning dog when you see him in person.

He has a beautiful combination of golden brown fur, with tips of dark black along the edges, and the most beautiful golden brown eyes you'd ever want to gaze into. Blake obviously was blessed with the best traits of both breeds, and it shows when you meet him. Blake is a calm boy who is so sweet, walks great on a leash, doesn't chew or destroy his toys or anything else in his foster home.  He is also house trained.

Blake isn't crate-trained, but he's shown no reason in his foster home to be crated. Blake's only issue is one of needing love and companionship. The ideal home for Blake would be as his owner's only doggie companion, as he is like most Goldens and bonds quickly and deeply with his owners. He'll follow you anywhere that you'll let him, always watching and adoring you with his stunningly beautiful, soulful eyes.

Goldens adore their owners, are loyal to a fault, and just want to be with them always. Blake does have one problem: He chases cats, so a home with cats would not be suitable for him.

Blake has been vetted, he is up-to-date on all his shots, has been neutered and is microchipped. The only thing he's missing is a "home." If you are interested in meeting sweet Blake, or considering him for adoption, you can call Lisa with Angels Among Us Pet Rescue at 404-895-3999 or you can go to http://angelsrescue.org/pet-forms/dog-adoption-app.asp and fill out an application for Blake.
