Movies At Newtown Park Start In June

Johns Creek's family-friendly movie series is free and will include pre-show entertainment.

The start of the popular Movies at Newtown Park series is less than a month away.

The city of Johns Creek will bring the series, sponsored by Northside Hospital, back to Newtown Park on June 24, July 12 and Aug. 9. 

The movies, which are free, will include a pre-show entertainment such as inflatable moonwalk, face-painting, children's activities, giveaways, music, food and drinks.

The pre-show activities will start roughly two hours before sundown.  

The movies start at dusk and will be shown on a large inflatable screen. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and relax as they watch the movie. No alcohol or pets are allowed.

The movie titles will be announced a week prior to each event. Movies shown will be rated G or PG. 

Newtown Park is located at 3150 Old Alabama Rd.
