Kids Can Play Baseball With Evan Gattis

North Fulton's aspiring baseball players will have a chance to learn from the Atlanta Braves' Evan Gattis at upcoming camps at Wills and Hembree parks.

The MVP Baseball Camp takes place at Alpharetta's Wills Park on Aug. 10. The Alpharetta camp includes former Brave Greg McMichael in addition to Gattis. The Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department is offering the camp at Hembree Park on Aug. 17.

The camp is for all children ages 6 to 15. It focuses on agility training, hitting/pitching mechanics and simulated game situations. 

Two packages are available for the Alpharetta camp: 

• The $95 Gold Package includes individual instruction from McMichael and group instruction from Gattis, autograph from McMichael an photo opportunity with both players.
• The $145.00 Platinum Package includes individual instruction from McMichael, group instruction from Gattis, autograph from McMichael, photo opportunity with both players, camp T-shirt and autographed baseball by Gattis.

Two packages are available for the Roswell camp: 

• The $95 Gold Package includes camp with group instruction from Gattis, individual instruction from pro players and  photo opportunity with Gattis.
• $145 Platinum Package includes four-hour camp with group instruction from Gattis, individual instruction from pro players, photo opportunity with Gattis, camp T-shirt and baseball autographed by Gattis.
