'Dolphin Tale' at Newtown Park on Saturday

Family friendly movie will be shown outdoors on the big screen.

Johns Creek's concludes for the summer atΒ Β this Saturday, Aug. 25, with the kid-friendly "Dolphin Tale."

Originally scheduled for Aug. 4, the movie had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather that evening.

The movie, about a young dolphin and the efforts to save her, will be shown on a big inflatable screen at dusk, around 9 p.m. Pre-show activities such as a moonwalk, face-painting, giveaways and refreshments will start about two hours prior.

Admission is free, and families are invited to be bring blankets and lawn chairs. Alcohol and pets will not be allowed.

Earlier in the day, the continues at the park from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
