In Johns Creek, this year's farmers market at Newtown Park starts June 1 and runs through Sept. 7.
Nearby, Roswell and Alpharetta also host weekly farmers markets.

For the fifth year, the American Farmland Trust is hosting an "I Love My Farmers Market Celebration" to raise awareness for struggling farmers.
The event encourages consumers to pledge online to spend $10 at a local farmers market, with a goal of collecting $1 million in pledges by Sept. 9. The first time a consumer pledges, they will receive a free "No Farms No Food" bumper sticker.
