Both squads will face Wesleyan on Thursday with the Region 5E-A title on the line. The schools are currently tied atop the boy’s and girl’s sub-region standings.

“I think both our boys and girls have gotten stronger as the year has progressed,” said Pisgah head coach Ken Bomar. "Since we have played a number of freshmen and sophomores from the beginning they have particularly benefitted from the experience of having nearly a full season behind them. They understand that they now have to step up to an even higher level if we want to win against Wesleyan and as we move into the region and, hopefully, the state tournament."
