If the rest of the high school lacrosse season is anything like Tuesday night's matchup between the defending state champion Milton Eagles and the Northview Titans, it's going to be a very exciting season.
The Titans and the Eagles played head to head for all four quarters of their season opening game. After the first quarter, Milton and Northview were all even at 2-2.
The Eagles knew that they had a fight on their hands but managed to gain a one goal advantage over the visiting Titans by the end of the first half at 5-4.
The flow of the game appeared to be going in the Eagles favor as they increased their lead to 9-6 at the end of the third period, but the Titans roared back in the fourth quarter, first tying the score at 10-10 and then scoring the go ahead goal with 3:12 left in the game.
Milton was unable to score an equalizer and Northview walked away with an 11-10 victory over the Eagles.
