Johns Creek is starting to turn heads with another solid game, this time a 34-0 victory against the Sequoyah Chiefs.

The Gladiators had 378 offensive yards and held the Chiefs to only 70 yards.  Strong performances by the defense led by linebacker Grant Brown (9 tackles), linesman Sam Arrington (7 tackles) and safety Jack Pomerantz (3 tackles and an interception) made a statement to the region.

With the defense holding fast, quarterback Sky Overton went 13 for 16 passing and had three rushing touchdowns. Touchdowns from Chase Solomon and Cody Hardage also tacked onto the score.

Johns Creek's next game is against resurgent Cass High School, who handed Johns Creek a decisive loss last year. Expect a big turnout from the JC fans for this home game.
