Chattahoochee High Freshmen Compete in National Lacrosse Competition

The Gore sisters advanced to the Sweet 16 round in Orlando before their championship bid ended.

Chattahoochee High School freshmen Marissa and Siena Gore competed in the U.S. Lacrosse National Championship at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL, July 23.

The Gore sisters, playing with their summer travel team Eagle Stixs, primarily comprised of Milton High School travel players, advanced to the Sweet 16 round in Orlando.

Only 32 teams from across the U.S. qualified for the tournament. In addition to going farther in the championships than any other Georgia team, Eagle Stixs also beat the No. 9 team before their championship bid ended.
