Woodward to Send Five Odyssey of the Mind Teams to World Finals

Woodward Academy will send five teams - four from Woodward North in Johns Creek and one Middle School team (comprised of former Woodward North students) - to the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals in Maryland in May.

This is an unprecedented number of teams competing in World Finals from the school. Also, Woodward teacher and Odyssey of the Mind coach Kathy Smith was inducted into the Odyssey of the Mind Hall of Fame. 

Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state and world levels.
