Woodward North Ranks First in Georgia Mathematics League
Sixth-graders place first out of 66 schools.
Sixth-graders at Woodward North in Johns Creek placed first out of 66 schools in the 2010-2011 Georgia Mathematics League Contest. The Math League has Math Contests for grades 4 through 8, Algebra 1 students and high school students. More than one million students from the United States and Canada participate in Math League Contests each year. The goal is to encourage student interest and confidence in mathematics through solving worthwhile problems.
