Pisgah Offering Community Sports This Winter

Patriot Community Sports to offer wrestling, basketball and cheerleading.

will be offering community basketball, cheerleading and wrestling programs this winter through Patriot Community Sports. Registration is now open for basketball and cheerleading. Wrestling registration will open very soon.

Wrestling is new to Patriot Community Sports and will be overseen by Josh Merry, the head varsity wrestling coach at Pisgah. There will be a meeting on Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. in the Drummond Center on the school's East Campus for anyone interested in this program. Practice will begin Nov. 3 at 6 p.m.

For basketball, PCS offers a co-ed Future Stars developmental league for 5- and 6-year-olds. These teams will practice once a week and play short games following practice. Students in first through eighth grade can play on single gender teams who practice one to two times per week and then play games on Saturdays.
