Wilson Creek Kid 'Competently' Wins Bee

Fourth and fifth grade students at  participated in a school-wide spelling bee this week. Fifth-grader Sophie Moon correctly spelled the word “competently” to seal the victory.

Sophie will represent Wilson Creek in the Fulton County spelling bee on Feb. 2 at Mount Olive Elementary School in East Point.

The purpose of the spelling bee is to help students improve their spelling, increase their vocabularies, learn concepts and develop correct English usage that will help them all their lives.
